copies of Microsoft Windows

A UK retailer has been accused by Microsoft of pirating 94,000 copies of Windows XP and Vista recovery discs. Read the full Microsoft press statement here. This again shows how important proper software and license management is for organizations. Software vendors more and more sort to legal actions to fight misusage of software. And according to a Gartner report, this can only be expected to increase this year.
